Administer your Cisco switch
There are quite a few things to know before you can actually administer your Cisco switch. You have get information concerning the IP address or the DNS name of the switches. The configuration of the Cisco switch commands can be done via web administration interface. These commands may vary depending solely on the type of switches you use. An example of these switches is the show-type of switches. The following are examples of the commands for the show-type of switch.
The ‘show history’ provides information on the previous commands you have uses. And to assign a switch hostname, the term ‘hostname’ should be typed.
