Don’t Have Unrealistic Hope on CCNA Certificate
The people taking the Cisco certification exam with unrealistic expectations will always end in being frustrated. Before the certification exam, a fair number of candidates have the following expectations:

- Achieving CCNA certification, I will obtain the job I have dreamed;

Does CCNA certification have so great function? We have such impractical expectations perhaps for mistakenly understanding what the certification is.
In fact, certificate examination, take the example of Cisco 640-816, is only used to assess a candidate’ knowledge of certain software, his logical thinking ability and problem resolution ability. However, nearly every client or emplor hopes you are experienced and skillful. And the certification examinations are not working experiences. No one will pay you because of your certificate, they need effective works. You should be capable of not only accomplishing any job your company assigns but completing your work with a high standard in specified time and budget.
In addition, 640-816 mainly concerns with technical skills. However, you can not succeed in the IT industry just relying on skills. Therefore, if you want to get somewhere in IT industry, apart from the proficiency in a certain skill, you also need other knowledge such as interpersonal relationships, contacting skills, team work and so on.
All in all, you should have a clear idea in your mind and then go for the test, with the sufficent time and resources to complete it. You can get more useful experience from the media, the Internet and even your boss.
